John's solid bass playing and his amazing vocal range and power provide a strong contribution toward the musical success of the band.   John received his Bachelors Degree in Music from the Univ. of Mass and did graduate studies at the Univ. of Lowell. Besides playing in bands for years, John is an accomplished songwriter, having received awards from the American Song Festival in 1981, 1982 and 1983. John does numerous freelance projects on piano, bass and vocals. He is also called to write and record commercial jingle work.
